ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Friday that Pakistan was not engaged in an arms race with any country.
After receiving a briefing from DG National Command and Control Authority, Prime Minister Sharif remarked that Pakistan believed in maintaining minimum deterrence.
The prime minister added that the country’s nuclear assets were safe as he stressed that Pakistan was a peaceful atomic country.
Prime Minister Sharif also expressed confidence in the fool proof security of Pakistan’s defence assets.
